There's a moment in the day when our garden in Pordenone transforms. The lights dim, the little bulbs among the branches switch on, and the air fills with the scent of aromatic herbs and the clink of glasses. It's aperitivo hour. And at The Garden, aperitivo isn't just a drink — it's a ritual.
The atmosphere makes the cocktail
We could serve you the same drink at any plastic counter and it wouldn't be the same. Aperitivo at The Garden is a multisensory experience: the lounge music in the background, the green of the plants around you, the evening breeze crossing the courtyard. Every cocktail is designed to be drunk here, in this setting, in this state of mind.

Spritz Garden — Our signature
The Spritz Garden isn't your usual spritz. The difference starts with the base: we use **P-31**, an artisanal Italian aperitif with a unique character. Where the classic Aperol is sweet and predictable, P-31 brings a complexity of alpine herbs, bitter citrus and a long, spiced finish that turns the spritz into something sophisticated.
**The recipe:** P-31, quality prosecco, a touch of soda, ice and an orange peel expressed over the glass. Simple in structure, complex in taste. We serve it in our wide goblet because every sip should bring the aroma to your nose too.
It's by far the most-ordered drink on summer evenings in the garden. And once you've tried it, you never go back to a normal spritz.
Amerigarden — The Americano reimagined
The Americano is a classic of Italian mixology, often underrated. We took it and made it our own. The **Amerigarden** keeps the soul of the original — bitter, red vermouth, soda — but our version plays with slightly different proportions and an artisanal vermouth that adds notes of rhubarb and bitter orange.

**The result** is a light, refreshing drink with a bitter complexity that whets the appetite without weighing you down. It's the perfect cocktail for those who want to start the evening with elegance, perhaps alongside one of our crostini or a portion of marinated olives.
Negroni — Our tribute to tradition
We've already told the Negroni's fascinating story elsewhere, but it deserves a place here too because at The Garden we prepare it with obsessive care. Quality gin, Campari, artisanal red vermouth. Stirred in the mixing glass with crystal-clear ice for 30 seconds, poured slowly, garnished with an orange peel we squeeze over the glass to release the essential oils.
**The secret** is temperature and dilution: a perfect Negroni must be cold but not watered down, bitter but round, strong but drinkable. At The Garden we serve it with a large ice cube that melts slowly, keeping the balance sip after sip.
When to come for aperitivo
Aperitivo at The Garden starts at 5:30 pm and the magic moment is between 6:30 and 8:00 pm, when the sunset light filters through the garden leaves and Pordenone lights up for the evening. Booking a table in the garden for aperitivo, especially on summer weekends, is a wise choice.
Our invitation
All that's left is to choose your cocktail, take a seat among the plants and the lights of our garden, and let go. Aperitivo at The Garden isn't just a drink: it's the most beautiful way to say goodbye to the day in Pordenone.
